Website Strategy.

  • Overview

    Website Audit & Strategic Direction

Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to begin.

You know your website could be working harder for your business, but working out what actually needs changing is another matter. Perhaps it feels a little tired, the navigation has become muddled, or it simply no longer reflects the experience you offer in person.

Website Strategy gives you a fresh pair of eyes and a clear plan forward.

It may be right for you if:

    • your website needs attention, but you’re not sure how much

    • you’re wondering whether to refresh what you have or start again

    • your messaging or customer journey doesn’t feel quite right

    • visitors aren’t finding what they need easily

    • you’d like expert direction before investing in a larger project

You don’t need to have the answer before we begin. That’s exactly what we’ll work out together.

  • Who It's For

Website Strategy is a good place to begin if you know something needs to change, but you’re not quite sure what that change should look like.

It may be right for you if:

    • your existing website feels tired, unclear or out of step with the business

    • you’re considering a refresh but don’t know how far to take it

    • you’re wondering whether a VIP Design Day would be enough

    • you’re unsure whether you need a One Page or Custom Website

    • visitors struggle to find menus, bookings, services or key information

    • the site has grown over time without much thought given to structure

    • you’d like to improve the mobile experience

    • you want an expert review before investing in design work

    • you’re planning a new website and want to get the foundations right first

You don’t need to diagnose the problem yourself. That’s part of what we’ll work out together.

  • What's Included

    • a pre-audit questionnaire

    • review of your current website or website plans

    • a 30-minute strategy call

    • review of structure and customer journey

    • messaging and content observations

    • mobile experience review

    • visual consistency and usability observations

    • basic SEO and website-foundation checks

    • clear recommendations organised by priority

    • a written strategy summary / action plan

    • a 30-minute summary call with guidance on the most suitable next steps

That next step might be something you can handle yourself, a VIP Design Day, a One Page Website or a more substantial Custom Website project.

The goal isn’t to sell you more than you need. It’s to help you see clearly what will genuinely make a difference.

  • Timeline

Once I’ve received your questionnaire and everything I need to review the site, I’ll carry out the audit before our strategy conversation.

Your written recommendations and next-step plan will follow within approximately 5 business days of our session.

Website Strategy. Our Process.

  • QUESTIONNAIRE

We’ll begin with a short questionnaire about your business, your website and anything that has been bothering you.

Tell me what feels difficult, what you’d love to improve, and where you feel a little stuck.

There are no right answers — this simply gives me the context I need before I start looking.

  • REVIEW

Then I take a proper look.

I’ll review the website as both a designer and a potential customer — looking at structure, messaging, navigation, mobile experience, visual consistency and the journey from first impression to booking, enquiry or purchase.

The aim isn’t to pick holes in everything.

It’s to find the places where a thoughtful change could make things clearer, easier or more effective.

  • STRATEGY

Next, we’ll sit down together for a 60-minute strategy session.

I’ll talk you through what I’ve noticed, what’s already working well, and the areas I believe deserve your attention first.

It’s also your chance to ask questions and talk through any ideas you’ve been considering.

  • ROADMAP

After our session, I’ll bring everything together into a clear written action plan.

Your recommendations will be organised by priority, so you know what matters now, what can wait, and where your time or investment will have the greatest impact.

No enormous list designed to overwhelm you.

    Just a practical way forward.

  • NEXT STEPS

Sometimes the audit confirms that a handful of focused changes are all that’s needed.

Sometimes it becomes clear the website would benefit from something more substantial.

Either way, I’ll recommend the simplest next step — whether that’s making a few changes yourself, booking a VIP Design Day, or exploring a One Page or Custom Website.

You’ll leave knowing what comes next and why.
